In Microsoft support (https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Share-documents-or-folders-in-SharePoint-Server-2013-5eec8604-e9d7-4f84-bee5-1c7d8e048d8c) they say that in a site library, you may want to share specific documents or folders with people who don’t otherwise have access to the site. When you share documents and folders, you can decide whether to let people edit or just view them.
My problem is no one can see the “edit or view” button when sharing a document except the site manager.
Is this normal?
Thanks!
Thanks you for your reply! Do you know if SharePoint has intention to correct the broken inheritance problem? Do you know if SP 2016 is better?
