Heard a lot of rumours when SharePoint 2013 was in beta, but it’s gone kind of quiet. Does anyone know what the state of play is with the Education services ?

To be honest, Mark, I had never heard of it… so I went searching. Found an article from Trevor posted in November: https://sharepoint.nauplius.net/2012/11/sharepoint-2013-for-education/

And not much else.
So, I’m curious, what was it designed to? It looks like the idea was to use SharePoint as an LMS… but not sure.
I could see internal uses for it. Not all training that we provide internally needs to be in our Learning Management System or via Elluminate. Could be a viable alternative.
