This is a problem that has started this week and we are baffled, so I was hoping that someone might have an idea.
When I go into Change The Look and I pick a look it goes to the next page and has the “Working on it..” and never ends, just stays on the “Working on it…”.
If I force the issue and click on the “Try it out ->” while it’s still “Working on it…” I get the following error:

I realize this is an old thread but wanted to respond with a solution to this problem:
This typically occurs if you save a site as a template and don’t select the option to “Include Content” while saving the site as a template. Then when you create another site based on the template, the files necessary for the composed looks (particularly the theme files) do not get copied over.
