Is there any Developer Certification for SharePoint 2016, if so where do I find information about it?

The current certification MCSD: SharePoint Applications is being retired at the end of the month (March 2017).
The new certification is moving to “MCSD: App Builder” which can be found here
There is no specialized SharePoint certification. This is because the development landscape has changed for SharePoint Developers, to now use modern web technologies that interface with SharePoint.
