I’ve got a problem, during CheckIn file from code (only for few users). I received error:
Unauthorized user ‘user1′ tied to checkout/in file ‘filename’. Currently checked out to ‘user1’. Locked: None.
Of course file is checked out to the same user.
Do You have any idea?

I have seen this issue if you try to open the document from SharePoint and try to SAVE AS new document in same location.
Also,You need to check the Office upload manager (on the client machine) which is introduced in office 2010 to clear all the pending transactions.

No, only on few users. Document has been checked out from code too and in the next step is checkin into the major version.
Does this happen every time they try to open the document or just some of the time? I’ve seen it where Office crashes and the document stays locked for 10 minutes:Â https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/899709Â
The support article says to just wait 10 minutes, but there’s ways of unlocking/checking in the file through PowerShellÂ
