Hello Everyone,
As you all know by now, The SharePoint Conference will be March 3-6 2014 in Las Vegas.
What you might not know is that SharePoint Community turns 1 year old on February 15th, 2014… and I think organizing a meetup/party would be a great idea during the Conference!
So, I was wondering how many of you would be interested to come at a part on March 2 2014 in Vegas right before the conference?
I am going to have to work on this.. as we’re getting closer to the conference! Anyone got contacts in Vegas.. I think Sunday night would be perfect! Maybe we can get some sponsors so we get 2-3 free drinks each… but I don’t think we will be able to get more than that!
If anyone has experience organizing those kind of events + has contacts, or knows good places in Vegas please send me a PM! Also, if you want to sponsor, send me a PM as well and we can make an amazing event!
If there is no location selected we could call some bars and see if they have informal meetings available/light reservations, etc. I am guessing you aren’t wanting to rent out a private room/event hall, etc. yes?

Boss said no, so unless I score a free pass before then, I’ll have to attend “in spirit”. I’ll have lots of spirit, though = SharePoint cheerleader LOL 🙂 Maybe I’ll take on the task of creating the avatar nametags 😉
