I have created a SharePoint 2013 List Workflow and in that I am assigning a Task and sending an e-mail to group / user.
Sometimes it works fine but sometimes it gives the following error.
“HTTP Forbidden to office365siteurl/_api/sp.utilities.utility.SendEmail Correlation Id: ….. Instance Id: ….
Access denied. You do not have permission to perform this action or access this resource”
Can any one suggest why it is happening ?
And if it is related to permission then what will be permission level (contribute, edit, full control) for user / group in list ?
It’s possible that the the permissions are related to the inability to view members of the group from where the email will be sending. Take a look at the group in permissions, and see if “allow anyone to view members” is checked on the group used for the task.
