When I create a new SharePoint project in visual studio it shows “SharePoint server is not installed on this computer.”
I have already installed SharePoint Foundation 2013 and also I already installed visual studio 2012..
Still I have to install SharePoint server 2013 or what I have to do for creating the SharePoint project in visual studio.

You are missing templates for SP 2013 in VS as VS 2012 hasnt been released when Sp 2013…yeah yu got the picture. Follow this tutorial to make them available.

Which version of Visual Studio are you using ? Is it looking for the right version ? Also…have to ask…have you installed it on the same box ?
