SharePoint workflow error message

Hi,

I am using SharePoint 2010 and SharePoint Designer 2010. I created a workflow using SharePoint Designer when I tried to click on the workflow listed to start it, I get an error message saying “This workflow cannot be customized from the browser. Use a SharePoint-Compatible workflow editing tool, such as Microsoft SharePoint Designer to edit this workflow”

Any idea on how to resolve this problem would be appreciated.

You are tring to edit workflow by clicking on workflow , hence its showing above error message. To start your designer workflow , you should set option to start either manuallly or automatice when item is changed or created.

Manual workflow can be started from context menu of that item –
