Site Quota impact on content database.

Hi All,

Just wanted to understand the impact of site quota on content database.

Let’s assume I have quota template with 10 GB size. When I create site collection with this template, will it secure 10 GB in content DB?

If content DB size is 200 GB, can I create 21 site collection with same template on one content DB? Even though not a single document in any site collection.
