Hey all I have a question about SP13 community sites. Â When a member of the site leaves they are removed from view on the members list, although I have noticed two things:
The member is still visible in the members lists admin view
More annoyingly though they are still visible on the Whats happening webpart on the front page, so there are three members in a community and one leave the whats new still shows that there are three members instead of two.
Also if I delete a discussion and also delete it from all recycling bins it still shows in the whats new webpart.
I think I’m missing something obvious but i’m not sure what, anyone came across this behavior before?Â
UPDATE
I have removed the users from the User Information List of the site collection and the community member admin view using powershell but the Whats new webpart still show that the site has three users instead of two.
Does anyone know how/where the Whats new webpart gets it’s information from?
I’ve also ran Full Crawls in case that was it but no joy. Â It seems so simple but it’s just not working the way i expect it too.
