I am using IE8 32-bit with Office 2010 in a SP2013 environment; after including a Document Set Content Type within an existing Document Library, the Ribbon Options are all disabled and grayed out.
Has anyone had this scenario and can provide some guidance?

Resolved; found out the issue was related to a feature recently deployed by the ‘branding’ project. Deactivated the feature and all the ribbon options are active. On to the next thing.
