Hello everybody,
For a lot of SharePointers like myself, it will be the first Microsoft SharePoint conference they attend! How about we create a list of tips and tricks veterans learned from the past SharePoint Conferences so first timers don’t make the same mistakes and get the most out of the conference!
Let’s start with some basic questions like:
What food is provided by SPC14 and what food do we pay out of our pockets?Â
What parties are there and any events that might be interesting ?
How do you get the most out of SPC14?
How to get the most giveaways from vendors 😛
Any tips or tricks are welcome and we could make a small “101 guide” with input from the community afterwards!Â

Food – Breakfast and Lunch are provided. They are feeding 10K people so expect cafeteria quality food.
Events – There are Microsoft events and then there are vendor events. Watch for event announcements and ticket information because these are typically limited!
What do you get out of it? That depends on what you want. Training, next gen info, find out what other customers are doing, etc.
Walk around the vendor floor and let everyone scan your badge and play all of the games until you are sick.  Then you might win something 🙂  Oh and register an email that you don’t care to get spammed on because you WILL get spammed!
