Well the title is kind of self explanatory but is it possible to automatically stamp all pdfs added to a document library in SharePoint Online?
If so, how can this be achieved?
Ok, thanks for the replies and links.
As the scope of the stamping is, at this stage, very limited (a couple of hundred documents, always the same stamp in the same location) I think I’ll fire up the coding fingers. But if this is needed in a wider scale and as a more reliable solution in the future I’ll remember the tips.

Thanks Mark,
The Muhimbi PDF Converter for SharePoint does indeed contain watermarking facilities, but due to the relatively complex nature of the product there is no way it will work in the limited SharePoint online environment.
See http://www.muhimbi.com/Products/PDF-Converter-for-SharePoint/summary.aspx
A potential solution is to install just our Conversion Service on a company server that is accessible from SharePoint on-line and then make Web Service calls into it. For an example see http://blog.muhimbi.com/2010/06/using-awesome-new-watermarking-features.html. The product comes with a well documented and professional Web Services interface.
I hope this helps.
Have asked Jeroen Ritmeijer (who develops PDF SharePoint) to see if he has any ideas …
I already read some articles on how to do it on SharePoint on Premise.. however Online is another story!Â
