Hi to all, i’m implementing a new intranet in a government agency and I already have experience with public facing websites but not intranet. I was in doubt if I use Publishing or Team Site template. I am well acquainted with publishing but as I said the use was in a public facing site type. I did a test with Team Site template and activated the publishing feature but still found it strange (or missing functionality or worse, that sometime I feel lacking some important functionality in the future). Please help me in this.

Sorry George, i’m using 2013 version. Actually i did some research and tests yesterday and i very inclined to use Publishing template mostly because (i’m was suspicious on that) of the lack of custom layouts on Team Sites templates (if i’m not in a mistake). Anyway, i would like your opinion on that if you could. Thanks.
