Hi to all, i’m implementing a new intranet in a government agency and I already have experience with public facing websites but not intranet. I was in doubt if I use Publishing or Team Site template. I am well acquainted with publishing but as I said the use was in a public facing site type. I did a test with Team Site template and activated the publishing feature but still found it strange (or missing functionality or worse, that sometime I feel lacking some important functionality in the future). Please help me in this.

Think about an Intranet as a companies internal marketing site. Just like a public facing site but just for internal customers. It is more about disseminating information so I always use the publishing template for an intranet site. Team sites are for collaboration.
