Hey guys whats up.
I’m trying to update a couple of user profile properties I created. I’m currently accessing the user profile through the Service Client.
Everything runs smoothly when I’m running my code as a one of the admins of the user profile service application. But when I’m running it as a sitecolletion admin (that’s not a user profile application admin) the property does not update.
So I’m assuming I need to be a user profile application admin in order to update the property. Someone could confirm if this is right?

If you’re updating another user’s profile, you need to have the Manage User Profile right on the UPA.
