I have a client who has mistakenly bought ProPlus licences (or licenses for non-UK folks!) which means he doesn’t get Exchange. He is tied in for a year with them.
Has he lost his money? Is there a way to get them changed to Business Essentials ones?

Actually it turns out the phone support for Office365 people were really great. Even though my client had signed up for a year commitment, they were happy for us to add an E3 subscription and then they just cancelled the ProPlus subscription with no penalty.
It would probably be best to contact a MS Sales rep with that question. Has he done so already?
