Hi,
I struggled already alot with this User Profile Synchronisation Service. I am Running SharePoint Server 2013 Service Pack 1.
I end up with the following error always:

Unerwartete Ausnahme in FeedCacheService.IsRepopulationNeeded: Connection to the server terminated,check if the cache host(s) is running .
Can anyone help me?
I can tell you that I too have this error, and I have researched this repeatedly and have tried everything to fix it. This error seems to be very common. It doesn’t seem to have affected anything – everything works great. So, I believe this is another SharePoint bug, and for me, seems to be benign…
I’ve given up on this. But, if you find a fix, please post it…
