I am currently looking into a solution to utilize SharePoint REST API & CRUD to populate a custom HTML masterpage. For example update a carousel on the masterpage with content from a SharePoint list etc. I was wondering if anyone could provide some tutorials or examples.

Have a look at “Getting started with Bootstrap and AngularJS (for the SharePoint Developer)”, this – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LXfVHrdqj7I but I think it’s incomplete as my rest calls aren’t working.
