I am currently looking into a solution to utilize SharePoint REST API & CRUD to populate a custom HTML masterpage. For example update a carousel on the masterpage with content from a SharePoint list etc. I was wondering if anyone could provide some tutorials or examples.

I have found that the SharePoint Rest Api course on pluralsight to be quite helpful and has got me a lot further into finding a solution by using Json to create the dynamic HTML i needed
