Hello,
I am looking for the best practices for audit reporting in SharePoint 2013 farm. Can anyone please provide me checklist/tools/guidelines on same ?
your help will be much appreciated.
Thanks and Regards,
Hi, If you are looking for basic audit details I would suggest SharePoint auditing is sufficient. Make sure you choose only events which are required. Because SharePoint generate quite huge amount of audit logs. Alternatively select the logs to store data for 30 days and you can generate reports and store them in a library.
Although I do not use them, I know ‘ControlPoint’ tool has good auditing features like tracking a user which can be quite useful for compliance.
Cheers
