What are your thoughts on Skydrive pro? Are you finding it useful? It is quite an interesting replacement for workspace. Do you find the name “Skydrive pro” confusing with skydrive?
My experience with Skydrive pro was not really exciting. I was looking for more features for on-premises and jumped on to use it with SharePoint 2010 but to be honest I was disappointed. Hope it will evolve and we can use for offline sync and checkin/checkout.
That is good to hear. SkyDrive is basically an online drive where anything can be stored and synched to multiple devices. SkyDrive Pro is tightly tied to SharePoint and has limitations on storage and devices. Big difference. Anybody who is familiar with SkyDrive will be disappointed with SkyDrive Pro (just as I was).
