For one the technical resources on this site are top notch. I’ve have found the knowledge in the chat room to be WAY beyond MS support. This community knows SharePoint and they are WILLING to share.

Pretty much what most of the others have said: SPChats, networking with other SharePoint professionals, chat, ability to get answers to questions quickly, etc.
