I’ve been using TwitPic and I’m really not satisfied, I get too much of their advertisements. I’ve also tried posting on skydrive and it’s cumbersome to get the Shortened URLs. I think I’ve tried Google as well.

Depends what it is, but I whack them on my facebook page. e.g. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=515233231893083&set=a.126781754071568.32528.122713481145062&type=1&theater then share the url.
