The idea of this discussion is to gather some info about best practices when deploying SharePoint updates.
First question would be if you keep up with the cumulative updates released by Microsoft, I skip some of them.
Second question is about automation. I know very well the manual procedure but I wonder if any of you apply or know about some automation.
The problem is that the updates take too much time to apply especially in bigger farms so I think any automation would be good but have no idea where to start.
