I asked this question on my Facebook page and got some really good responses, so I thought I would cast it wider! I was wondering which MVVM Framework you all use with SharePoint and JS ?
The way I see it there are 2 main ones, with a 3rd option which is Kendo (paid) :
Do you use any of these ? If so which one and why ?
I agree – not Lightswitch specifically but seen plenty of attempts at similar things before. They are fantastic at getting something up quick … then you hit a brick wall when there is an oddball requirement.
Just started with MVVM on SharePoint. Using LightSwitch and jQuery for building data driven apps. I couldn’t have developed anything more quickly. Works Great with SharePoint 2013.
I have a larger portal application where we used KnockoutJS successfully for building some web parts.
I prefer AngularJS and its great infrastructure on a full single page app.
