What experience do you have with SharePoint migration tools ? Which ones the best, easiest to use, best value for money ?
Reason for asking is I am considering doing a special newsletter which compares and contrasts them, but don’t have the experience with all of them… So if you have used one, let me know your thoughts and share as much as possible…

We used ShareGate to migrate our MOSS 2007 content to our SP2013 farm. It was wonderful. We went from a single site collection in the MOSS site to 9 site collections in the new farm. We were able to re-organize content within a site or between sites as well as from one document library to another. This helped tremendously in making things easier to find for our end users.
The price was reasonable. The product worked well, no meta data was lost (created by, modified dates, etc.).
