What’s the latest official guidance on sandboxed solutions? Will they eventually be deprecated or still a valid, strategic deployment option? Still OK to use code in them?

Just got a very prompt answer on the Office 365 Yammer Group, but for those that aren’t members, the guidance is definitely that no managed code should be used from this point onwards. Declarative code (CAML) is still fine, but stay away from C#. The advice is now definitely to embrace the App Model and put all your code somewhere else.
