We are looking for an Intranet template that gives us mobile, news, content aggregation from the Department sites amongst other stuff!
If you built your own, can you let me know how you went about it?
Alternatively, if you bought one in, how long did it take, were your users happy and was it a success?

This is a very tricky question to answer as ‘it depends’ on many things such as what exactly do you need it for? Anyway, our sister site over at the Collab365.Directory has a list of the best SharePoint Intranet Templates.
