I’m working in SharePoint 2013 environment with MySites. We are getting ready to move from Sql 2012 to Sql 2014.

I know I need to add a CU to make this work, but I’m not sure which one. I read one article that indicated I should (at least) install May 7, 2014 so that UPS will sync. I have some concerns about installing the latest CU. We currently don’t install CUs on our servers. So this will be our first. On that note, do we need to run the products wizard or do we simply install the CU  to the server?
