Go on let’s have em, what laptops are you all running and do you recommend for SP 2013 development ? The MBP a contender (surely not)!… Is anyone surviving on 16gb ?

I just ordered a Lenovo W530 with an upgraded CPU and screen, 256 GB SSD, and spare power brick. I went with a 1x8GB RAM chip and will add another 24 locally when it arrives – 3x8GB Lenovo RAM goes locally for about $300 vs the $570 it would have cost with the order, and as needed I can swap out the DVD-RW for another SSD or a 500 GB 7200 RPM HDD.
