Which products / services / companies would you be looking to buy and why ? This can be a product to replace something in SharePoint, or a product that would compliment it.

Oh I’ve also created an entire Event Management System using this product.
Obviously I’ve had to create the database, but the output being generated is all done through One database query.

I know this is for DNN (Evoq now), however I can tell you this, it has been (even though they’ve been quiet) the best tool allowing for a Web Developer who has basic SQL query knowledge to get data out of the database and displayed without writing one line of C# code.
Now the company originally was going to make a SharePoint version, but they never did.
I’ve been in talks and a new version is coming – but I think it’s stalled (OWS 3.0).

Metalogix. Â If not the largest, they’re 2nd in terms of revenue for SharePoint ISVs. Â They have a lot of great products packed in that really extend the utility of SharePoint from an Administrators and content manager’s perspective.
It is a great product and can solve nightmares for lot of Org’s who are tired of asking people to fill in Metadata. Their API’s are really good too. I have seen it in use but not used it.
Actually there are 2 things that should be in sp: a modern interface that replaces the stsadmin, the other is functionality as in harmon.ie
