Win-an-eBook Wednesdays is a small three day contest that we hold every week. The Prize? An O’reilly eBook for your choice! Furthermore, if you win, you also get the chance to ask the community whatever question you want and be the judge for next week’s contest!
The only thing you have to do to enter is answer the following question: If you could bring a Feature into the next SharePoint, what would it be?
This week’s judge is battlesmith, winner of last week’s contest!
You have until May 3rd (10pm GMT) to answer this question!
1)I would like to implement a Learning function as say Lynda.com RSS feed.
2)Maybe a Help channel where users can talk directly to the Developer if hes on.
3) Or a Autocorrect function which constantly goes over the document and corrects misspells.
We are using Telerik 2013 controls in our projects. There is a lot of problem related to performance when a certain amount of data is considered. Especially in case of gird exporting…
Also a lot of limitations we came across while using it..
So it worth to use asp.net controls instead of telerik control and ado.net instead of telerik orm,
And the Winner is – Peter Ridgway-Davies
I share this pain point where InfoPath forms or forms space in general is a huge broken link for SharePoint still in 2013.
Although we can use access forms, asp.net forms or 3rd party forms, it is not fair to leave void in this space by MSFT.
Congrats Peter!
I know this not really a feature but I would like to see the Design view in SharePoint Designer coming back again 🙂
Exactly, that’s a huge space to be left void. But, I would say we do not have any good alternatives rather to use 3rd party forms.
