I have an existing workflow that was created in SharePoint by another IT guy. now I am having a lot of issues with it. the issue is that it is sending multiple emails in the first stage for an approval. I cant test it as each time I test it, somehow all the authorities get the emails from somewhere even though I have taken them out from the workflow and assign the emails to myself, plus each time I publish the workflow it sends extra number of same emails to the users. so if the director was getting 5 emails for the same thing next time I publish the workflow he would receive it 6 times and so on. I don’t understand where the issue is. I have put delay after the approval email is sent as well but its not helping,
please can you help me on this
