Gavin Barron and his team built the attendee website for the Microsoft Ignite conference held in Chicago. With 23,000 potential users and high visibility the site had to be built to scale.
During this session Gavin will give us some insight into how you can structure your Azure Web Apps to be highly scalable and ensure high availability. Gavin will cover the infrastructure set up in Azure, the additional software components to aid with making an application highly scalable, and some of the logging and deployment automation used by his team.
